This summer is my appointment to declutter. I’m starting with one of the bedrooms we’re turning into an office. We are going to put a shelf all the around the top of the wall for my books instead of taking up floorspace for a bookshelf. That will help a lot bacayse I have books all over the place. I love my books.

I love red. Not so much a subtle color. I have two rooms with a red wall. I’m thinking about painting my kitchen/den red as well. It’s a happy color! :O) I probably aught to make sure the rest of the room is calmer to balance the loudness of the red.

Corey, I didn’t know you were such a great decorator!

Great post. Personally for me when I started to simpfily my external enviroment is when I could cultivate the energy to simplify my internal awareness as well. Letting go of what I did not need(externally and internally) allowed me to create more love, peace and compassion for what really matters.

  4. Great tips. I really need to get a bookshelf with doors to get my massive book collection out of sight… It’s cluttering up my office right now. Come to speak of it, any way to get rid of wires in an aesthetically pleasing way?
