  1. Great points, Corey. For us, I can definitely say that “Comedy” has been a vital point throughout the years. Whenever times get tough or the mood gets tense, we can usually find a way to make each other laugh and realize we’re going to be okay. The humor has a lot to do with our chemistry as a couple.

  2. Great points; I thought that “Cycles of Relationships” was particularly enlightening. It’s nice to know that we don’t always have to be on the same page!

We entered into our relationship with the Commitment that we’re going to stick it out, no matter what.

  3. My favorite thought was “Take the time to work on your contribution to the relationship rather than worrying about your partner’s contribution.” Brilliant and I know SO many marriages and relationships in general would be improved beyond description if we would do this daily. Thanks Corey!

  4. Thank you for this article… It is very timely as my husband and I are just starting counseling to see if our 8 yr marriage can be saved… He’s feeling the “I love you, but am not in love with you…” thing which I believe relates to #’s 4 and 5 above. I’ve shared this article with him and others through Twitter.

  5. I mentioned this post in a recent post on my own blog because it reminded me of some things I need to keep in mind to maintain balance at home. Thank you.
