Simple Marriage Comments Upgrade

by Corey on May 22, 2009 · 8 comments

in About, Spirituality

Over the past couple of days the comments section of Simple Marriage has experienced some upgrading. Once all the work is complete, the comments will be capable of more direct discussion.

The main upgrade is the reply feature. As you read through the comments, if you read a comment you want to discuss, simply hit the reply feature and type in your comment. This allows you to create a conversation within the existing comment.

While all the work is being completed, you may see a few glitches along the way. Please let me know if you see something that isn’t working right.

I look forward to our conversations in the future. Have a great weekend!

Threaded comments are awesome! I’ve yet to put them on Writer Dad, but I use them everywhere else. Cool beans, Corey.

Nice threaded comments. You decided not to do the Disqus?

Disqus wasn’t compatible with this theme. It messed up a lot of things.

Bummer to hear about Disqus – I just installed it and love it. Just change your theme ;-)

Corey I would like to suggest that you (or anyone) mentions the name of the person you are replying to so that when we get the email, we know who the response is directed to. It will make it easier to follow the dialog. Thanks…

Is there an RSS feed available for comments on the site?

Not at this point. There is a follow up by email for each post. If there is enough interest in an RSS feed for comments I can add it. Thanks for the idea.
