  1. The 1% Experience, what a concept! Thanks for the incite and appropriately putting it into some simple figures to do some logical marriage math.

    I loved this line:

“Water your relationship for a few minutes each week and it will thrive”

How true, sometimes it’s easy to forget that your spouse can’t always be a cactus.

  2. Love it and love the thought in this post. I cannot wait to share it with others and set aside my 1%. Thanks!

  3. I admit I can become absorbed in accomplishing so many tasks–work, cleaning, laundry, exercising, cooking–that I forget some days to set aside that lazy time with my honey. But 1% seems quite doable, especially when you put it that way. I find that to really relax we often need to get out of the house together for a quick lunch, a walk or a date night. It keeps the household distractions away. Great reminder.
I wrote a post on true connectivity that discussed the need to truly connect (even gadget-free)! http://wp.me/pgTZD-85

This information is great! I printed it out for dh to read when he gets home from work. Sounds like a simple concept that makes total sense.

  5. Simple yet effective. With the little one in our lives, my blogging, and the wife’s new photography business it’s been a constant gong show. We’ve decided to purposely set time aside to just be together. No distractions…. well maybe a little TV!

  6. 1% sounds like so little, yet it’s baby steps in the right direction. How we all need time together to just BE. Thank you for making it seem do-able.
