SHe is great at giving me the "real deal" kind of answer and has been good at helping me see the hubs point of view. When I talk to her, it's not to compain but to help me sift through the whole thing. Is there a difference in your book? You say to keep it to yourself, but are there times when what I describe is ok? It has sure helped me. It is very difficult to live with a half empty spouse. It beats you down.
