While the official start of the 38 Day Build a Better Marriage Challenge is not for another 2 weeks – in preparation for the launch, the Back Porch is now open.
If you’ve yet to hear about the Back Porch – you can read more here.
Whenever my wife and I have had any relationship or family planning and brainstorming discussions, they’ve usually taken place on our back porch. This is a comfortable space where we can sit and talk about our marriage, our family, our dreams, plans, goals, whatever.
If you’d like to know a little more about what will happen on the Back Porch during the 38 DBBMC, watch this minute and a half video. If you’re not interested, feel free to skip to the next post.
During the 38 Day Challenge, there will be a group of us working through the challenge together on the Back Porch.
Space is limited so if you’re interested in getting a seat for you and your spouse, act now. Simply follow this link and scroll to the bottom of the page in order to complete the process.
The 38 Day Build a Better Marriage Challenge begins Sept. 14th.

Would love to see an article about excessive gaming causing issues in marriage..
Thanks for the idea- something like this would not be tackled until after the 38 Day Challenge – since I already have everything queued til then. You could refer to the final post I did in the Pornography series for assistance in the meantime – although the topic is different, the same issues and principles apply.

Would the premium level still be beneficial even if only one spouse is willing to do this?
Absolutely- any improvements made in life and marriage can be done solo or with your partner. If your spouse isn’t interested, you can still benefit, which in turn will benefit your marriage. I’ve written something on something similar before – you can check it out here: http://www.simplemarriage.net/marriage-help-when-your-spouse-isnt-interested.html
Of course I’m biased in my thoughts but I really do think the Back Porch would benefit you solo or together, and who knows, perhaps they’ll join in somewhere along the way.
Thanks!
