Before I got married, if I went to the mall with forty dollars, I spent forty dollars. The hub on the other hand saved purposely for things. When other teens were saving to buy their first car, he saved and bought a grand piano. We still have it. I think it was spoken of in our vows. he he. But he taught me to hold on to the dollars a bit more and while he is far superior at it, I am better than I was.

I am leaving my current job in June and starting my own business (website linked to my name) and it will cut our income in half. While I am nervous about the money, I am trusting in God to provide. I feel he has paved the road for me to do this and I'm diving into the water. Pray for my business....

We decided a while back to stay in our current smaller house and fix it up. This summer, thanks to all the posts on simplifying, I am purging stuff we don't use to simplify our house and break free of the clutter. I am excited to get that going.

You know, I have found many cases where the grass was greener on the other side. Sometimes it seemed so green that it brought out the ugly part of me. But then I try to remember that it takes a lot of manure to get that lovely shade of green and it gives me a reality check. I am not good at shoveling poop! Great pst Pam. Keep up the great work!
